NEW TRIP!
The Two Seas Journey is one of the most extraordinary expeditions we offer, combining two of Baja California Sur’s most iconic marine environments into a single 10-day adventure. Five days are spent exploring the wild Pacific waters of Magdalena Bay, followed by five days paddling the spectacular islands of the Gulf of California, including Isla Danzante and Isla Carmen.
This journey showcases the remarkable contrast between Baja’s two seas. On the Pacific side, Magdalena Bay offers vast mangrove estuaries, sweeping sand dunes, and nutrient-rich waters teeming with life. In the Gulf of California, the scenery shifts dramatically to crystal-clear turquoise water, volcanic islands, dramatic cliffs, and white-sand beaches.
Magdalena Bay is the meeting place of two significant ocean currents, creating an enormous upwelling of nutrients that supports astonishing biodiversity. Sea lion colonies, thousands of migratory birds, gray whales, sea turtles, and dolphins are all part of this thriving ecosystem.
In the Gulf of California, often called “the world’s aquarium” by Jacques Cousteau, you’ll paddle among some of the most beautiful islands in Mexico. Loreto National Park is home to abundant marine life, rugged desert landscapes, and secluded beaches ideal for camping under the stars.
This is a fully supported expedition, traveling by sea and exploring day by day. Our experienced guides and support team handle logistics so you can focus on the adventure and immerse yourself in the rhythm of expedition life.
The Two Seas Journey offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the best of Baja’s Pacific and Gulf coasts in one unforgettable trip—an expedition rich in wildlife, cultural insight, and the profound beauty of two very different but equally spectacular seas.
