The spirit of Loreto comes alive when you see it from the water, with the mission tower dwarfed by the mountains rising behind. Pelicans cruise by, fish jump, dolphins may grace us with a visit. We’ve even seen humpback whales nearby!

Experiencing Loreto from the water is an essential part of the magic of this waterfront Pueblo Magico.

Paddle a single or double SUP or SOT Sit-on-top kayaks. Please let us know if you’d prefer a sea kayak.

Your tour is at “La Negrita beach” in front of our Expedition base.

Our NEW Expedition Base is located near the center of Loreto, on Calle Davis, El Jaral. A block from the north end of the waterfront.  It is staffed at designated meeting times and during store hours. https://maps.app.goo.gl/w4y5bxstcUMvbg7y5 

Directions

Go to the waterfront, and walk NORTH on the Malecon (the waterfront road/walkway). At the end of the road and walkway, turn inland one block, then turn (right) to Calle Davis, then walk until you see a white building with a wooden gate and our storefront. We will be prepared to meet you at the pre-arranged meeting time, or during store hours.

  • Tip for guide always appreciated!

Tips for your guides/coaches/captains are always appreciated! Fifteen percent is typical, but completely at your discretion. Tips may be handed in cash to your lead guide at the end of the trip, to divide among the guide and captain team. Mexican pesos are ideal, but unmarked US dollars with no rips or physical damage are also good in any denomination.

Tips for taxis are included in the trip price.
