For paddlers with sea kayaking experience, we can paddle to Isla Danzante and back.

It’s a 1.5nm crossing to the south end where you’ll find a nature hike on the west side and particularly good snorkeling, and natural shade on the east

What we sometimes call the “Danzante Island Mushroom Tour” is a fun full-day tour takes in Danzante Islands’s fun geological features, its abundant beaches, scenic views, and excellent snorkeling. Paddle along Danzante’s shore, hike one of the short trails to magnificent scenic overlooks. Enjoy lunch on the island.

All paddling gear and National Park passes included. No experience necessary.

Calm capsize and re-entry required

Where to check-in prior to trip day

If you’d like to check in we can visit our NEW Expedition Base that is located near the center of Loreto, on Calle Davis, El Jaral. A block from the north end of the waterfront.  It is staffed at designated meeting times and during store hours. https://maps.app.goo.gl/w4y5bxstcUMvbg7y5 

Directions

Go to the waterfront, and walk NORTH on the Malecon (the waterfront road/walkway). At the end of the road and walkway, turn inland one block, then turn (right) to Calle Davis, then walk until you see a white building with a wooden gate and our storefront. We will be prepared to meet you at the pre-arranged meeting time, or during store hours.

Tips for your guides/coaches/captains are always appreciated! Fifteen percent is typical, but completely at your discretion. Tips may be handed in cash to your lead guide at the end of the trip, to divide among the guide and captain team. Mexican pesos are ideal, but unmarked US dollars with no rips or physical damage are also good in any denomination.

Tips for taxis are included in the trip price.
